I’ve been a fan of anime for as long as I can remember, so I was really drawn to this video. While it does draw on anime, it does not particularly stick to anime stereotypes. I think it actually draws more upon traditional Japanese animation with the color palette and also the textures used.

This one is animated in the style of many animations from the 80’s and 90’s, as well as anime. It reminds me of my childhood, but it’s also of something that I appreciate more as an adult. The color palette used is great and the music is great.
